About Us

Dear friends,

It is a pleasure to introduce myself and New Day Beginning (we usually shorten it to ‘New Day’). My husband Ernest and I, Mary, are the founders, and we began this journey in January 2023.

As seniors in our seventies, we are parents of three adult children, and we are grandparents to six grandchildren and great-grandparents to eight. They are accompanied by a host of more loved ones, including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

We recognize that there are many excellent churches and ministries in the area. However, we are here to fill a void and assist in building God’s kingdom. After conducting 100 focus groups, it was revealed that there are gaps in the fabric of the Christian faith. Some felt like outsiders because there were unfamiliar expectations based on age, the services were too long, and it was difficult to balance attending church with supporting their families. Our aim is to address these needs.

At New Day, we offer a one-hour service, followed by fellowship for up to two hours. We focus on basic Bible teaching, and our services are gospel-centered and inspiring. We also offer family-oriented activities. Services are held on the second and fourth Sundays at 10:00 AM, which allows two to three Sundays for worship and service in the community or for relationship building at home.

Ernest and I are both military retirees, and we have served and continue to serve God, our country, and our fellow man. We understand that the future of our nation depends on the success of individuals and families in our communities, state, and nation. Our focus is on all humankind, regardless of age, race, or gender.
